Connecting the dots — Activity and Calories,
After two weeks, I can see exactly what I consume and how I can easily increase activity (without committing to gyms, etc): I am making a point of taking a brisk walk daily so that my daily calories burned are higher than consumed. Best Trainer I have ever had!!!,
The tracker is easy to put on and take off, also the fact that it is worn on the wrist is priceless… I have tried other pedometers and have always had a problem with trying to clip them to various parts of my clothing and then forgetting to take them off before washing my clothes…
While the guidelines say that it can be worn while showering, I found that moisture tends to collect under the plastic strip where you can see the tracking lights…. So, after the first day I wear it for 23 hours and 50 minutes of my day…. The battery lasts decently long (~6 days) and I just charge it while sitting and watching television or when I’m reading a book…. The ‘dashboard’ is great. It displays information such as calories burned, distance, steps, activity minutes, food intake, sleep time, etc…. There are no words to describe the satisfaction felt when each of these displays turns green and forms into a smiley face to celebrate your achievement for the day….
I would highly recommend the Fitbit Flex for anyone looking for motivation in the form of a wrist worn tracker…
